Volunteer
"Survivors of sexual assault need and deserve as much support as possible, and I am very passionate about working for this cause in any way that I can. PCAC provides so much support to survivors and education to the community, and being just one of several victim advocates and volunteers offers me the amazing opportunity to support individuals as well." Maggie, Volunteer
In 2022, our volunteers dedicated more than 3,000 hours of their time to helping survivors of sexual violence.
Without the help of these amazing volunteers, our services could not happen.
Whether you can volunteer a few hours or multiple days a month, Pickens County Advocacy Center would be happy to have you!
Pickens County Advocacy Center offers training for all volunteers who wish to aid in the impact of these survivors. Our training is mostly online and self-paced, so it is perfect for anyone. During training, you will learn about the impacts of sexual violence, crisis intervention, victim advocacy, and so much more.
